My Story

My father served in the Military,(Army and Navy)  He was a civilian employee at Ft. Fordon, a reserve deputy and then a County Magistrate before his passing when I was just 19 years old.  I knew that I would serve in an area of protection, security, or law.  Turns out it started as a Jailer, then a County Deputy and Investigator.  Once married, I moved and taught special needs in public education before moving on to teach Protective Services in the High School Career Center. I transitioned to educate teachers in a local school district when technology became the primary method of instruction and I began to assist the Information Technology Director with his daily tasks. What we discovered was that I had more patience with the not-so-tech-savy teachers and I was assigned to assist them. I eventually went back to school to get a degree in Cyber Security and Information Assurance. The pandemic came and I went back to another security job.  However, God has placed on my heart to help those learn about how to protect themselves from the evil that surrounds us in the cyber world. I will post articles along with tips and tricks to protect yourself.   In full transparency, the cyber world is ever-changing so what may be good one day may not be the next but I will try to stay up to date.
